Arriving to Charleston and Kiawah Island

The nearest airport is Charleston International Airport (CHS) which is a 15 minute drive downtown and a 45 minute drive to Kiawah Island.

For those guests staying on Kiawah Island, Uber and Lyft are available from the airport. However, we suggest renting a car or using a transportation service for getting around the Island.

Wedding Transportation

For guests staying downtown Charleston or nearby, transportation will be provided to and from the ceremony and reception.

At the end of the night, there will be two buses - one heading back downtown following the wedding and another that will transport guests to The Sanctuary for an optional nightcap with Kate & Gus. The late night bus will return all guests downtown following bar closure at 11pm.

Arriving to the Gate

If you choose to drive to the ceremony separately, please let the Kiawah Island main gate attendant know you are here for the Goudy-Capace wedding. They will give you a gate pass that will provide access to the venue and around the island.
